Laundry Day….

….Sucks. I post pon every weekend thinking that it will just do itself. Then I remember, I don’t have a maid. It just keeps building and piling up until when I decide to do it- it takes me a million loads. Yay for procrastination!!

$640 Million

I bought my very first lotto ticket to participate in the 640 million dollar jack pot…I thought for sure the winning ticket was in my hand and that beginners luck had something to do with it! Boy was I depressed when I found out some woman won in Maryland but my jealousy turned into happiness when I realized that she had to share the pot with two other people. Man, how life changing that would be! What would you do with 640 MILLION dollars? I’ve made a list.

  1. Pay off my student loans which are such a pain in my ass.
  2. Donate money to Women battered shelters.
  3. Donate money to keep after school arts programs alive in the inner cities.
  4. Open up a pet sanctuary on a huge farm for dogs and cats who have been abused or on the ‘put down’ list.
  5. Set up college funds for my brother and sister.
  6. Give money to my mom and dad so they can retire.
  7. Buy an around the world ticket for my close friends and family and travel the world.
  8. Move my grandpa out of Connecticut and move him closer to me so he won’t ever have to spend Christmas, or any day, alone.
  9. Buy a nice house and get myself a pony…because I’ve always wanted one.
  10. Invest, invest, invest for my families future generations.

What would you do with all that money?

Fingers crossed for feed back on a major role directed by Klaus Menzel. I’ve recently sent in my audition tape, thanks to my awesome agent, and now we play the waiting game. Auditions are easy, quick and fun but the waiting game is the brutal silent killer! Luckily, I’ve got a few more auditions lined up to keep me busy. In the meantime, I’ll be keeping those fingers and toes crossed!

Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I’m not perfect and I don’t live to be. But, before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean.

Permalink It’s my last night in New Zealand. I can’t believe that it has been a month and a half already. Time really flies when you’re having fun and relaxing, but alas, all good things must come to an end.
These last few days have been fantastic- Jason and I went on an amazing 6 hour bush walk to see a 400ft water fall in Ananui Falls (pictured at the look out point) we went all the way to the TOP of that water fall, more pictures to come! *what a rush*
Meanwhile, I have a new found love of boogie boarding and yesterday I decided to try boarding with trendy flippers because “that’s how the pros do it.”  We locate pretty nice waves a little further from the main beach and we prepare to get right on in. Less than half way out, about hip deep, we spot a SHARK. I’ve never run so fast in my life!!! Luckily, both of my legs are still intact….but my ‘new found love’ for boogie boarding may just turn into me laying out on the beach and maybe putting my foot in the water!
Earlier today, I went to Rotorua to ride the fun filled Luge which is a 3 wheeled, gravity defying, cart. The first time around, I went really slow. The second time a little faster. The third time even faster than that and the fourth time I almost KO-ed into a wall and was close to absolutely wasting my foot. I recovered from my near collision with the wall and finished the ride. Walked away with nothing is bruised and broken…well maybe just my pride. Tonight I had a spa with lots of New Zealand wine and a fantastic dinner followed by charades and cranium. Relaxing all the way to the sweet end.
Not a bad way to end an amazing trip down under! My flight isn’t until the evening, so I’m looking forward to tomorrow. Hopefully the day will bring sunny weather!
